farming insects is one of the first movers in the German market for edible insects and will launch an online shop in the beginning of 2017. Currently we are a team of four food enthusiasts from the fields business administration, landscape architecture, product management and design. Both consumers and the environment benefit from our revolutionary products. Insects are very eco-friendly. The production of mealworms saves water (2.000x less than regular beef), reduces CO2 pollution (100x less) and they are rich in protein (2x more). Furthermore, by 2050 we will need a bigger variety of food choices to serve food to everyone. We want to initiate this transition as early as possible. Our test eaters already love our products and confirmed that the time is right to get started: 9 out of 10 would like to eat more insects after their first try.
